Current Responsibilities
Medical Director for an urgent care facility to include:
- Overseeing all medical and business operations in the urgent care facility
- Supervising medical staff, which includes NP's, RN's, LPN's, MA's, Radiographers, and Certified Lab Technicians.
- Clinical Director of the in-house laboratory.
- Evaluation and treatment of all urgent care, occupational and chronic care patients.
- Perform history and physicals for DOT, OSHA, pre-employment, school, and sports.
- Laceration repair, incision and drainage, and other minor surgical procedures.
- Eye injury evaluations.
- Ordering appropriate diagnostic testing for laboratory, x-ray, visual acuity, electrocardiograms, spirometry, and interprets results.
- Overseeing all urine drug and breath alcohol testing.
- Perform osteopathic manipulative therapies.
- Perform radiological procedures and techniques, and interpret the results.
- Act as patient liaison between client companies and their injured employees.
- Contact client companies in order to expand patient base.
- Conduct monthly quality review audits on selected patient charts.
